Indiana Beats Michigan State in Regular Season Finale

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– After a tough offensive first half for both teams, Indiana found the back of the cage to clinch the 1-0 win against Michigan State heading into the Big Ten conference tournament.
With the win, Indiana advances to 9-8 overall and 4-4 in conference play to finish the regular season.
KEY MOMENTS
• It was a defensive battle in the first half, as neither team recorded more than five shots in the first half.
• The Hoosiers started to find their rhythm as they recorded nine penalty corners in the third quarter.
• Senior back Yip Van Wonderen was able to get the Hoosiers on the board from an assist by Freshman Forward Mijntje Hagen to take the 1-0 lead in the 48th minute.
