• Indiana is 5-24-1 all-time against Notre Dame.

• Indiana made its initial appearance in the College Football Playoff as Friday's first round game is the 14th postseason game played in Indiana football history and its first against Notre Dame.

• Indiana's game captains were: DL James Carpenter, RB Justice Ellison, OL Mike Katic.

• Notre Dame won the coin toss and deferred its choice to the second half. Indiana received the opening kick.

• The 10.0 tackles for loss set an Indiana postseason record. The previous mark was 9.0 tackles for loss by the 1988 Liberty Bowl squad versus South Carolina.

• Indiana's 71 offensive touchdowns on the season are its most in program history.

• Caught a 23-yard touchdown from Kurtis Rourke in the fourth quarter with 25 seconds left to make it a 27-17 game.

Amare Ferrell | DB | So.
• Had a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss and tied a career-high seven tackles. The last time he recorded seven stops was in Week 4 against Charlotte (9/21).

Aiden Fisher | LB | Jr.
• Posted fifth double-digit tackle game of the season with 10 stops to move his season total to 118, which are the most by a Hoosier since Tegray Scales (126) in 2016.

Rolijah Hardy | LB | Fr.
• Had a career-high four tackles

Mikail Kamara | DL | R-Jr.
• Owns at least one tackle in all 36 career appearances.

D'Angelo Ponds | DB | So.
• Hauled in his fifth career interception when he picked off Riley Leonard at the Notre Dame 44-yard line in the first quarter.

Myles Price | WR | Sr.+
• Had a 7-yard touchdown reception from Kurtis Rourke with 1:27 left in the fourth quarter to make it a 27-11 game.

Nicolas Radicic | K | R-Fr.
• Pushed season total to 99 points.
• Moved into No. 6 on the single-season scoring charts with 99 points on the year. Broke a four-way tie at No. 7 and passed Stephen Houston (98; 2012).

Kurtis Rourke | QB | R-Sr.
• Went 20-of-33 passing with 215 yards and two touchdowns against the Fighting Irish.
• Now ranks No. 1 on the single-season passing touchdowns list with 29. Passed Kellen Lewis (28; 2007) and Nate Sudfeld (27: 2015) in the game.
• Moved his way to No. 8 on the single-season total offense list with 3,007 yards. Passed Ben Chappell (2,932; 2009) and Trent Green (2,829; 1991).

Elijah Sarratt | WR | Jr.
• Moved his consecutive games with a catch streak to 38-straight games with a 28-yard reception in the first quarter.
• Moved season total to 957 yards receiving, which ranks No. 10 in IU history. Passed Kenny Allen (929; 1985) and James Hardy (893; 2005) in the game.

Jailin Walker | LB | Sr.
• Forced his seventh career fumble when he knocked the ball loose from Mitchell Evans at the Notre Dame 47-yard line in the first quarter.
• Recovered the blocked 37-yard field goal attempt by James Carpenter and returned it 15 yards at the 12:12 mark in the fourth quarter.
• Tied a career-high 10 tackles. He previously did so at Marshall in 2023 and against Coastal Carolina in 2022 while at James Madison.
