Indiana vs. Chattanooga

• The (RV/-) Indiana Men's Basketball team (9-3, 1-1 B1G) picked up a win over Chattanooga, 74-65, on Saturday (Dec. 21) afternoon at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Six different players scored at least eight points for the Hoosiers while nine of the 10 players that saw game action recorded at least one basket.
• IU shot 50.0% or better (50.0%) from the floor for the seventh time this season. The Hoosiers grabbed 10+ offensive rebounds (11) for the third-straight game and the sixth time on the campaign.
• Junior forward Malik Reneau had the joint team high with 14 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the floor. He also compiled eight rebounds and dished out four assists. He matched his career high with three steals.
• Reneau reached double figures for the sixth-consecutive game. Since the final game of the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis (Nov. 29), Reneau is averaging 16.7 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game (six games).
• Of all 10 players to appear for IU on Saturday, Reneau had the highest plus-minus. He played a team best 27 minutes and was +18 for the Hoosiers when he was on the floor.
• Sophomore forward Mackenzie Mgbako was the only other IU player to hit double figures in Saturday's contest. He had an efficient shooting night from the floor (71.4%). He also grabbed four rebounds.
• Sixth-year center Oumar Ballo finished just short of a double-double but recorded nine points, eight rebounds and four assists.
• Redshirt sophomore guard Myles Rice recorded four points with three rebounds and three assists.
• Fifth-year senior guard Trey Galloway was limited by some early foul trouble but responded with a nice second half performance. He had eight points, two rebounds and four assists.
• Freshman forward Bryson Tucker scored nine points and grabbed three rebounds.
• Senior forward Luke Goode scored five points and also provided a season best five rebounds.
• Sophomore guard Kanaan Carlyle continued his strong play in a reserve role. He had eight points and grabbed two rebounds and an assist.
• Fifth-year senior guard Anthony Leal added three points off the bench.
• Senior center Langdon Hatton played three minutes in reserve.
• Up Next: The Hoosiers return to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall after Christmas to play host to Winthrop on Sunday, December 29th. Tip is set for 4:00 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
