• Indiana University will close out non-conference play in its 125th season of competition in men's basketball against Winthrop on Sunday, Dec. 29, at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The game will be broadcast on BTN with Connor Onion (pxp) and Shon Morris (analyst) on the call.
• The Eagles enter the game with a record of 10-4 under fourth-year head coach Mark Prosser. Winthrop has three seniors score at least 13.5 points per game: forward Kelton Talford (14.9 points per game), forward K.J. Doucet (14.0), and guard Kasen Harrison (13.6). The game will mark the return of former Hoosier Logan Duncomb.

• The former Gonzaga Bulldog and Arizona Wildcat holds a career winning percentage of 84.0% in 144 career games. Ballo has played in 120 straight games and has not missed a start over the last three seasons (83 games).
Reneau for Two
• Junior forward Malik Reneau is averaging a team-best 15.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. The Miami, Fla., native is shooting 59.3% (70-of-118) from the floor and 77.6% (38-of-49) from the free throw line in 27.3 minutes per game.
• He is one of three high-major players (Chance McMillian, Texas Tech; Derik Queen, Maryland)) to average at least 15.0 points per game while shooting 55.0% from the floor and 75.0% from the charity stripe.
• Reneau has tallied 15-plus points 26 times in his career, including seven games this season, and topped the 20-point threshold nine times. IU holds a record of 18-8 in games Reneau scores at least 15 points throughout his career.

• Sophomore forward Mackenzie Mgbako scored a career-high 31 points on 13-of-17 shooting from the floor and 4-of-5 shots from behind the arc in Indiana's victory over SIUE on Nov. 6 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The 31 points scored marked the most in a season debut for a Hoosier since 17-year NBA veteran Eric Gordon dropped 33 points in his debut against Chattanooga on Nov. 12, 2007.
• Mgbako is averaging 13.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting 51.7% (60-of-116) from the field, 45.7% (21-of-46) from behind the arc, and 89.7% (26-of-29) from the line.

• The 2024 McDonald's All-American leads the Hoosiers in points (6.5 per game) and rebounds (3.6) off the bench. He has scored 8+ points in five games this season, all resulting in Indiana wins.
