Football Finalizes 2024 Signing Class

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head football coach Curt Cignetti finalized his first recruiting class at the helm of the program with 38 student-athletes set to join the Hoosiers in 2024.
Sixteen of the 33 signed National Letters of Intent, while 22 transfer student-athletes arrived in Bloomington for the spring semester. Of the 38 signess, 28 are already on campus. Along with the 22 transfers, freshmen Tyler Cherry (Greenwood, Ind.), Dontrae Henderson (Charlotte, N.C.), Brody Kosin (Davisburg, Mich.), Mario Landino (Macungie, Pa.), Daniel Ndukwe (Lithonia, Ga.) and Josh Philostin (Palm Beach, Fla.) have enrolled in classes and will participate in spring practice.
IU signed 22 players on offense, 14 on defense and two specialists. Indiana's defense added five defensive linemen, five defensive backs and four linebackers, while the Hoosier offense on boarded seven offensive linemen, five running backs, five wide receivers, three quarterbacks and two tight ends. The special teams unit added one long snapper and one kicker.
The signees arrive in Bloomington from 13 different states and one from Canada. In all, 10 from Virginia signed with the Hoosiers and five more come from Georgia. Four Hoosier State natives signed with the program and three each came from Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. IU signed one each from Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, New York, Tennessee and Texas. Kurtis Rourke joins the program from Oakville, Ontario, via Ohio University.
