Gillard Selected Big Ten Golfer of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana sixth-year senior Noah Gillard was named the Big Ten Men's Golfer of the Week for the first time in his career, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Gillard secured runner-up honors at the 2024 Hoosier Collegiate, his best finish as a Hoosier, with a three-round scorecard of 213 (73-69-71; E). He was the low scorer for an IU team that won The Pfau Course event by 17 strokes.

The Center Grove graduate finished with eight total birdies and an eagle on No. 9 during first-round action. Gillard paced the field on Par-5 scoring at 4.11, a total of eight strokes under par.

He has placed inside the top-10 in three tournaments this season and four in his Indiana career. His previous best finish came at the Battle at Briar's Creek (t-4th) on Feb. 6, 2024.

Gillard and the Hoosiers will close the regular season at the Robert Kepler Invitational hosted by Ohio State from April 19-21 at the OSU Scarlet Course.
