IUTF Heads to California, Florida for Three Invitationals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana track and field returns to competition with the distance group heading to California for the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 11-13) at Azusa Pacific and Long Beach's Beach Invitational (April 12-13) while the rest of the event groups head to the opposite side of the country for Florida's Tom Jones Memorial Invite (April 12-13).

The distance group will kick off the weekend on Thursday out in California in their specialty events. Austin Haskett with run the 3,000-meter steeplechase while Claire Overfelt races the 10,000 meters.
STIDAM SETS 10K SCHOOL RECORD
• Graduate student Skylar Stidam set the school record in the 10,000m at NC State's Raleigh Relays on opening weekend. He ran a time of 28:32.41 with a PR of over 1:47 to beat now Assistant coach Andrew Poore's record of 28:48.02 set in 2011.
WEHRLE IN THE TOP-10
• Senior Mariah Wehrle moved into the top-10 in the 5,000 meters. She finished 29th at the Raleigh Relays with a time of 16:12.79 to open her outdoor season.
