LONG BEACH, Calif. – Freshman Brayden Henkle ran his first 3,000m steeplechase at the Beach Invitational at Long Beach State's Jack Rose Track.
He earned a top-10 finish after running a time of 9:39.41 to finish eighth in the event.
Up next, the mid-distance group will run the 800m on the final day of the Beach Invitational.
