
Hoosiers Finish Fourth at Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Indiana Hoosiers women's golf team placed fourth at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational played OSU Scarlet Course from April 13-14. The Hoosiers shot an 889 (301-292-296; +25).
The Hoosiers, who ranked 75th in the latest Scoreboard Rankings powered by clippd, finished ahead of Minnesota (57), Illinois (64), Kent State (66), Nebraska (69), and Wisconsin (70) in the team standings.
Indiana have now finished inside the top-5 of the team rankings in three tournaments this season, including a third-place effort at The Ally Invitational (Oct. 23-25) and a t-fourth finish at the FAU Paradise Invitational (Feb. 5-6).

• Fifth-year senior Caroline Craig paced the Hoosier lineup with a three-round scorecard of 219 (77-69-73; +3) to tie for ninth place. Her 54 holes consisted of six birdies (four in the second round) and just six bogeys. She finished second in the field with 42 par conversions.
• Senior Dominika Burdová tied for 14th overall with a final tally of 223 (76-73-74; +7). Three of her six birdies for the weekend came during the final round.
• Sophomore Faith Johnson earned a top-25 finish and turned in a scorecard reading of 225 (75-76-74; +9). She was credited with four birdie conversions.
• Redshirt junior Caroline Smith tied for 29th at 228 (73-76-79; +12). She knocked down six birdie tries with three coming in both the first and second round.
• Redshirt sophomore Maddie May shot a 239 (80-74-75; +13) to tie for 36th. She posted six birdie makes, including three in the second round.
• Freshman Nicole Kolbas posted a team-best seven birdies, tied for the 15th most in the field. She tied for 55th overall and shot a 234 (78-77-79; +18).
