BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's golf team earned a bid to the 2024 NCAA East Lansing Regional played at the Forest Acres Golf Course, the NCAA announced on Wednesday via a selection show on The Golf Channel.
"We are extremely excited that the Hoosiers have returned to NCAA postseason!" head coach Brian May said. "Our girls just came off a very special week and have been spending these last few days reflecting on winning the Big Ten Championship and what that means to them individually, our program, and our alumni. Our focus now shifts to East Lansing as we start our preparations to make a run in the NCAA Tournament. Go Hoosiers!"
The 2024 NCAA Regionals will be held May 6-8 at one of six sites across the country: Auburn University Club (Auburn, Ala.), Bermuda Run Country Club (Bermuda Run, N.C.), Tumblecreek Club (Cle Elum, Wash.), Traditions Club (College Station, Texas), Forest Acres Golf Course (Lansing, Mich.), and Spanish Trail Country Club (Las Vegas).
Each regional site will have 12 teams and six individuals not on those teams vying for a spot in the 2024 NCAA Championships. The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to play in the championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
