Hoosiers Fall in Series Finale to Wisconsin

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Indiana fell short to Wisconsin, 7-1, on Sunday in the fame of the weekend series.
With the loss, Indiana is now 36-15 on the season, and 11-9 in Big Ten play.

KEY MOMENTS
• Wisconsin's Blomberg hit a double to score Kuszak to give Wisconsin the early 1-0 lead.
• Later in the inning, Wells hit a two-run home run to put Wisconsin up 3-0 after the first.
• Indiana would score in the bottom of the third on a bunt from junior Sarah Stone and sophomore Cassidy Kettleman scoring.
• Kuszak hit a home run to give Wisconsin a 6-1 lead in the top of the fourth inning.
• In the top of the sixth inning, Aaliyah Andrews made a diving catch to keep Wisconsin from in the inning.
NOTABLES
• Stone now has recorded 41 RBI on the season.
• The program recognized its senior players of Macy Montgomery, Brooke Benson, Aaliyah Andrews and Cora Bassett, as well as senior manager Aiden Eastom prior to the game.
