Blake Denny Joins Women’s Soccer as Director of Operations

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer head coach Erwin van Bennekom has announced the addition of Blake Denny to the staff as the Director of Operations.
"We are thrilled to welcome Blake Denny to our program," van Bennekom said. "Coming from within Indiana University, his familiarity with our staff and the athletic department will be invaluable. His dedication to professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for the game are qualities that will undoubtedly enhance our environment and support our student-athletes and coaching staff."
Denny served as an event management coordinator on the event operations staff at IU for the last year. In his role, he prepared and managed gameday operations for three programs including: women's soccer, swim and dive and water polo. He also served in a variety of roles in athletic operations including co-directing the athletic event parking operations, security instruction and conflict resolution.
"Thank you to Erwin, Tim and Jennifer for this opportunity," Denny said. "It is an honor to join this team, and I am very excited to do my part in building on the success of the program in this new role. Go IU!"
Denny graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree with a focus in Fitness & Wellness in 2021 and earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology studying Athletic Administration and Sport Management in 2023.
