BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Nine athletes are representing the Indiana swimming and diving program at U.S. Olympic Diving Trials between June 17-23 in Knoxville, Tennessee, seeking qualification for the 2024 Paris Games.

Semifinals: Andrew Capobianco and Carson Tyler built a substantial lead in the men's 3-meter semifinal at the U.S. Olympic Diving Trials inside the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Their scores will carry over into Sunday's final to decide qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
THURSDAY, JUNE 20
Semifinals: After competing in preliminary and semifinal rounds on Thursday, four Hoosiers have qualified for finals at the U.S. Olympic Diving Trials in Knoxville, Tennessee. The final in the men's 10-meter and women's 3-meter events will take place Saturday.

Carson Tyler's qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics highlighted Indiana's Saturday at the U.S. Olympic Diving Trials, as four Hoosiers competed in finals.
- The winner of the last two NCAA platform championships, Tyler won the men's 10-meter event with a total score of 965.45 - 73.15 points better than the second-place finisher.
- Maxwell Weinrich finished 12th with a 564.95, his first time competing in the 10-meter event at trials.
- In the women's 3-meter final, Kristen Hayden and Anne Fowler at times challenged for the top-two qualification spots and finished fourth and sixth, respectively.
- Sunday marks the final day of competition at the diving trials as three Hoosiers compete in the men's 3-meter final at 2 p.m. ET. A 2020 Olympian in the event, Andrew Capobianco has the lead going into the final with 507.25 points, followed closely behind by Tyler's 485.60. The pair accounts for the last two NCAA 3-meter titles. Quinn Henninger currently sits seventh with 395.50 points.

FRIDAY, JUNE 21
Semifinals: Andrew Capobianco and Carson Tyler built a substantial lead in the men's 3-meter semifinal at the U.S. Olympic Diving Trials inside the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Their scores will carry over into Sunday's final to decide qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
- Capobianco, a 2020 Olympian in the event, leads the event with a score of 507.25. His lowest semifinal dive scored 77.00 points, and he ended on back-to-back dives scoring 91 points.
- Reigning NCAA 3-meter champion Carson Tyler sits second behind his IU training partner with a 485.60 — 50.50 points higher than third place. The top-two finishers from Sunday's final are expected to qualify for Paris.
- Both Capobianco and Tyler earned at least one score of 8.0 on each of their six dives.
- Despite Tyler's lower average degree of difficulty (3.25) compared to Capobianco's (3.6), Tyler still managed to stay in touch with sharp diving. Tyler had the best dive of the day, nailing a reverse 3 1/2 somersault tuck for 96.25 points — which included a perfect 10 from judge No. 6.
- IU divers recorded four dives scoring at least 90 points — four more than the rest of the field combined.
- Henninger ended his day on a forward 4 1/2 somersault tuck scoring 95 points to vault himself into seventh place — well within the top-12 cutline for the final.
- The Hoosier trio will return to action in the 3-meter final Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
- Tyler will return to action Saturday at 1 p.m. with a 47-point lead in the men's platform final. The NCAA Champion in both the 3-meter and 10-meter events, Tyler has the chance to now qualify for Paris in both. Maxwell Weinrich will join Tyler in the 10-meter final, sitting 11th.
- Kristen Hayden and Anne Fowler will compete in the women's 3-meter final on Saturday at 7 p.m. Hayden and Fowler sit sixth and seventh in the standings, respectively, going into their final five dives.
Prelims: Three Indiana divers were among the top performers in the men's 3-meter springboard preliminary at the U.S. Olympic Diving Trials in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- Andrew Capobianco led the 39-man field with a score of 453.75, nearly 20 points better than second-place finisher Tyler Downs (433.85). Capobianco was a 2020 Olympian in this event.
- 2024 NCAA 3-meter champion Carson Tyler finished third in Friday's prelim, scoring 401.75 points. Capobianco and Tyler were two of the four divers to eclipse 400 points.
- Quinn Henninger was not far behind, scoring 375.85 points to place seventh in the morning.
- Scores will reset to zero when the athletes return for the semifinal at 5 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the next round on Peacock. The top-12 finishers will advance to the final.
- The top-two finishers from Sunday's 3-meter final are expected to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

- Carson Tyler was dominant in the men's 10-meter event, scoring 477.20 points — 48.3 points better than the runner-up.
- Tyler's highest scoring dive was a forward 4 1/2 somersault tuck that earned 94.35 points in the third round.
- Maxwell Weinrich finished 11th in the platform prelim, scoring 315.45 points, and qualified for Saturday's final.
- On the women's 3-meter springboard, Kristen Hayden (289.70) and Anne Fowler (287.80) finished sixth and seventh to earn spots in Saturday's competition.
- The top-two finishers in each event are expected to qualify for the 2024 Paris Games.
- Action at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials will continue Friday in the men's 3-meter preliminary event. Tyler, Quinn Henninger and Andrew Capobianco will all compete in the event.
- Two-time defending NCAA platform champion Carson Tyler carried his tower momentum into the men's 10-meter prelim, owning the top score through six dives with a 421.60.
- Kristen Hayden sits No. 2 in a tight race after the women's 3-meter prelim. Sarah Bacon leads the standings with a 300.85, followed by Hayden's 300.60. Sophie Verzyl is third with a 300.45, and Kyndal Knight fourth with a 297.30.
- Should Hayden qualify for Paris 2024 on Saturday, she would become the first Black diver to represent Team USA at an Olympic Games.
- All participants in each event advanced to the semifinals, from which the top 12 will advance to finals on Saturday. The women's 3-meter will resume at 5 p.m. ET Thursday, followed by the men's 10-meter at 7 p.m. Peacock will stream both semifinals.

Finals: Jessica Parratto's Paris-clinching performance highlighted Indiana's Tuesday at the U.S. Olympic Diving Trials in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- Parratto and partner Delaney Schnell won the women's synchronized 10-meter – the event they earned a silver medal in at the 2020 Tokyo Games – with a score of 607.14 points.
- The Indiana swimming and diving program has now produced an Olympic diver in every Summer Games since 1964.
- Quinn Henninger and Andrew Capobianco suffered heartbreak in the men's synchronized 3-meter event, missing out on Paris by 2.37 points. The pair hit a forward 4 1/2 somersault tuck for 95.76 points in the final round to give themselves a significant lead, but the duo of Gregory Duncan and Tyler Downs did just enough on their final dive to surpass the Hoosiers.
- Henninger and Capobianco will compete again in the men's 3-meter springboard individual event on Friday.
- Action resumes at the U.S. Olympic Diving Trails on Thursday as athletes will participate in a training day on Wednesday.
- Parratto and partner Delaney Schnell gave themselves a platform in the women's synchronized 10-meter prelim, scoring 303.90 points — nearly 60 points better than the second place pairing.
- Capobianco and current IU collegiate diver Quinn Henninger are part of a tight battle in the men's synchronized 3-meter event. The Hoosier duo sits second after the morning with a score of 403.95. Their total sits just 15 hundredths of a point behind Gregory Duncan and Tyler Downs but 6.54 ahead of Jack Ryan and Grayson Campbell.
- Capobianco and Henninger are attempting the highest total degree of difficulty of the field, giving them the potential to earn a greater maximum score from their list.
- Next session: Parratto, Henninger and Capobiano will compete in their respective finals Tuesday night with Olympic qualification on the line. The women's 10-meter synchro final will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the men's 3-meter synchro at 9:15 p.m.

- Three Indiana divers participated in the women's synchronized 3-meter event, finishing fourth (Witte), fifth (Fowler) and sixth (Roselli).
- Monday marked first U.S. Olympic Diving Trials appearances for Lily Witte and Ella Roselli.
- Jessica Parratto and Andrew Capobianco will dive Tuesday in the events they medaled in at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Parratto and partner Delaney Schnell will compete in the women's 10-meter synchronized event at 11 a.m. ET, followed by Capobianco and IU training partner Quinn Henninger in the men's 3-meter synchro.
- The pair of Kassidy Cook and Sarah Bacon led the way with a score of 310.95, followed closely by Alison Gibson and Krysta Palmer (300.33) after five dives. IU's best performance came from Lily Witte and partner Bailee Sturgill with a 247.71.
