Indiana Field Hockey Announces 2024 Home Game Spirit Themes

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– The Indiana Field Hockey team has announced their 2024 slate of spirit themes for the upcoming fall season's home games.
The dates of the 2024 home dates with corresponding themes are listed below.
August 18 – Miami (OH) (SCRIMMAGE) – Youth Clinic
September 2 – Maine – International Game
September 11 – Miami (OH) – Pediatric Cancer Awareness
September 13 – Ball State – Umpire Appreciation & Free Pizza for Students, T-Shirt Giveaway
September 22 – Northwestern – I Association
October 4 – Maryland – Breast Cancer Awareness & Red Line Game (SAB)
October 6 – Rutgers – Pride Game
October 18 – California – Alumni Game
October 20 – Stanford – Senior Game
October 27 – Michigan State – Student Clinic

August 18 – Miami (OH) (SCRIMMAGE) – Youth Clinic
- Fans 12 and under are invited to join our players pregame for a brief session of fun skills and drills stations.
- Appropriate sign-up forms and waivers must be completed prior to participating.
- The first 40 participants will be given a voucher for Kona Ice.

September 2 – Maine – International Game
- All nationalities will be celebrated and recognized at the game and in the sport of field hockey.
- International players from Indiana and Maine's rosters will be recognized prior to the game's start.
September 11 – Miami (OH) – Pediatric Cancer Awareness
- Fans are encouraged to wear gold for pediatric cancer awareness.
September 13 – Ball State – Umpire Appreciation & Free Pizza for Students, T-Shirt Giveaway
- Prior to the game, the officiating crew will be recognized as part of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA)'s Umpire Appreciation Week.
- Free pizza will be provided for students in attendance while supplies last.
- Fans can enter a free raffle to win a t-shirt at the game.
September 22 – Northwestern – I Association
- Members of Indiana University's I Association will be in attendance and be recognized at the game.
October 4 – Maryland – Breast Cancer Awareness & Red Line Game (SAB)
- Fans are encouraged to wear pink for breast cancer awareness.
- This game will also be the Student Athletic Board's Red Line Game.
October 6 – Rutgers – Pride Game
- Indiana Field Hockey will celebrate inclusivity and acceptance as part of its LGBTQ+ Pride game.
October 18 – California – Alumni Game
- Several Indiana Field Hockey program alumni will be in attendance at the game and will be recognized.
October 20 – Stanford – Senior Game
- The program's seniors will be honored and recognized.
October 27 – Michigan State – Student Clinic
- Members of the student body are invited to stay after the game to participate in mini field hockey games along with skills and drills with players on the team.
