TEAM
• Indiana is 1-0 all-time against UCLA.
• Indiana started a season 3-0 for the 20th time in program history. IU also started four other seasons (1897, 1898, 1945, 1988) without a loss in its first three games (2-0-1).
• Curt Cignetti became the fourth Indiana head coach to start his head coaching tenure with a 3-0 record. James M. Sheldon (1905), Terry Hoeppner (2005) and Bill Lynch (2007). James Horne (1898) didn't lose in his first three games as an IU head coach with a 2-0-1 mark in 1898.
• The 29-point margin of victory was Indiana's largest over a Big Ten opponent since defeating Northwestern (Nov. 2), 34-3, in 2019.
• It was Indiana's largest margin of victory in a Big Ten road game since defeating Wisconsin (Oct. 6), 63-32, in 2001.
• With 150 points scored over its first three games, the 2024 Hoosiers tie for the most points in the first three games of a season with the 2013 edition (73, ISU; 35, Navy; 42 Bowling Green).
• Indiana's game captains were RB Justice Ellison, OL Mike Katic and DL James Carpenter.
• UCLA won the coin toss and deferred the opening kickoff. Indiana received the opening kick.
• One true freshman made their collegiate debut to make the season total 11 true freshmen to debut in 2024. Quinn Warren was the only true freshman to debut against UCLA.
• One Hoosier made a collegiate debut to move the total to 19 collegiate debuts in 2024, which includes 11 true freshmen. Quinn Warren was the only IU player to debut against UCLA.

• Posted first Hoosier sack with a solo takedown on third down in the second quarter to force a punt.
Omar Cooper Jr. | WR | R-So.
• Hauled in a 23-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to mark the fourth score of his career.
• Scored a touchdown in back-to-back games.
Miles Cross | WR | Sr.
• Caught a 3-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter for his first touchdown as a Hoosier and ninth of his career.
Justice Ellison | RB | R-Sr.+
• Ran for a 1-yard touchdown in the second quarter to put Indiana up 21-0.
• Scored a touchdown in back-to-back games with his 1-yard rush in the second quarter.
Amare Ferrell | DB | So.
• Logged first career sack in the first quarter which set up third-and-long and led to a missed UCLA field goal.
• Caught his second career interception when he picked off Ethan Garbers in the fourth quarter to set up Indiana's three-play scoring drive to extend their lead to 42-13.
Aiden Fisher | LB | Jr.
• Led the team with nine tackles, including four solo stops.
• Was his tenth career game with nine-plus tackles.
• Has charted nine-plus tackles in each of his three games as a Hoosier.
Elijah Green | RB | R-Jr.
• Charted a 14-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter, his third as a Hoosier and 11th of his career.
• Has rushed for a touchdown in each of his three games as a Hoosier.
Jamier Johnson | DB | R-Jr.
• Logged a career-high three tackles.
Mikail Kamara | DL | R-Jr.
• Recovered his first career fumble in the first quarter on UCLA's opening drive, which led to Indiana's second touchdown of the game.
Kurtis Rourke | QB | R-Sr.+
• Had a 25-of-33 passing day with 307 yards and four touchdowns.
• Posted his 10th career game - first at IU - with three-or-more touchdown passes and his 15th game with multiple touchdown passes in his career - two at Indiana.
• First Hoosier to throw four or more touchdown passes since Michael Penix Jr. had five at No. 3 Ohio State (11/21) in 2020.
Elijah Sarratt | WR | Jr.
• Moved his consecutive games with a catch streak to 28-straight games with his 24-yard reception in the first quarter.
Jeff Utzinger | LB | R-So.
• Tied his career high of one tackle.
Ke'Shawn WIlliams | WR | Sr.+
• Caught a 14-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter for his first touchdown as a Hoosier.
• His 3-yard receiving touchdown in the third quarter marked the seventh score of his career.
• Posted his first career multi-touchdown game.
