TEAM
• Indiana is 1-0 all-time against Charlotte.

• Indiana starts a season 4-0 for the eighth time in program history. The last 4-0 start came in 2020, with others in 2015, 1990, 1986, 1985, 1967 and 1910. IU started four other seasons with 3-0-1 records (1988, 1945, 1898, 1897).

• Curt Cignetti is the only Indiana head coach to start his head coaching tenure with a 4-0 record.

• Indiana's game captains were: DL James Carpenter, RB Justice Ellison and OL Mike Katic.

• Indiana won the coin toss and deferred the opening kickoff. Charlotte received the opening kick.

• Indiana has scored on its opening drive in three consecutive games (Western Illinois, 9/6; UCLA, 9/14; Charlotte, 9/21).

• Indiana's 202 points through four games are the most in any four-game stretch in program history. The previous best was 183 points in 2015 (Week 11 through Bowl).

• The Hoosiers are the first FBS team to eclipse the 200-point mark in 2024.

• IU scored 50-plus points in multiple games in the same season for just the seventh time in program history.

•The six rushing touchdowns mark just the third time since at least 1996 that IU has scored six-or-more rushing touchdowns in multiple games in a single season.

• With just 256 yards of total offense allowed versus Charlotte, the 2024 defense is the first since at least 1996 to allow fewer than 300 yards of total offense in four straight games.

• Charted 500 total yards of offense for the second time this season (Western Illinois, 9/6). It is the first time since 2019 that Indiana logged 500-plus yards of offense in multiple games.

• Scored his first touchdown as a Hoosier when he took a 21-yard rush to the end zone in the third quarter.

Bryson Bonds | DB | R-Jr.
• Recovered his second career fumble in the fourth quarter when Rod Gainey Jr. lost the ball from a forced fumble by Mario Landino.
• His first came at Ohio State (11/12) in 2022.

Justice Ellison | RB | Sr.+
• Scored on a 2-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter.
• Has notched a rushing touchdown in three consecutive games (Western Illinois, 9/6; UCLA, 9/14; Charlotte, 9/21).

Amare Ferrell | DB | So.
• Tied a career-high seven tackles. He last reached the mark against Rutgers (10/21) in 2023.
• Tied a career-high 1.0 tackles for loss, reaching the mark twice before.

Aiden Fisher | LB | Jr.
• Has logged 8-plus tackles in each of the first four weeks of the season.

Elijah Green | RB | R-Jr.
• Ran for a 13-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to close the scoring, putting Indiana up 52-14.
• Has rushed for a touchdown in every game of the season.

• Posted a career-high three tackles.

Isaiah Jones | LB | R-So.
• Tied a career-high six tackles. He last reached the mark in Week 1 against FIU (8/31).
• Had his first career tackle for loss.

Jamier Johnson | DB | R-Jr.
• Charted a career-high five tackles.

Mikail Kamara | DL | R-Jr.
• Has at least a half a tackle for loss in 24 of 27 career games with 1.0 tackles for loss against Charlotte.

Mario Landino | DL | Fr.
• Had his first career forced fumble in the fourth quarter when he stripped the ball from Charlotte's Rod Gainey Jr., Bryson Bonds recovered the ball for the Hoosiers.

Ty Son Lawton | RB | R-Sr.+
• Charted his seventh career multi-touchdown game with rushing touchdowns in the first and third quarter.

Kurtis Rourke | QB | R-Sr.+
• Had a 16-for-20 passing day with 258 yards and a touchdown.
• Took a 12-yard rush to the end zone in the second quarter for his thirteenth career rushing touchdown.
• Connected with Ke'Shawn Williams for a 19-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter to put Indiana up 31-14 with 26 seconds remaining in the first half.
• Logged his eighth career game with both a passing and rushing touchdown and second this season. He last did it in Week 2 against Western Illinois (9/6).

Josh Sanguinetti | DB | R-Sr.+
• Tied a career-high 0.5 tackles for loss. He has eclipsed the mark two other times and last did so in Week 2 against Western Illinois (9/6).

Elijah Sarratt | WR | Jr.
• Moved his consecutive games with a catch streak to 29-straight games with his 29-yard reception in the second quarter.

Jamari Sharpe | DB | R-So.
• Logged a career-high five tackles and four pass breakups.

Venson Sneed | DL | R-So.
• Tied a career-high one tackle. He has eclipsed the mark seven other times and last did so in Week 2 against Western Illinois (9/6).
