• The (RV/RV) Indiana Men's Basketball team (13-5, 4-3 B1G) fell to visiting (#19/20) Illinois, 94-69, on Tuesday (Jan. 14) evening at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Sixth-year senior center Oumar Ballo scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. He finished 7-for-11 from the field. It was his first 15-15 game since March 8, 2024 vs. Clemson.
• Ballo scored in double figures for the fifth-straight game. It's his longest stretch of consecutive contests with 10+ points (5) since doing so 10 times between January 27th and March 2nd in 2024 at Arizona.
• Ballo recorded his 39th career double-double and his fifth of the season. He's had a double-double in four of the last five Big Ten contests.
• Redshirt sophomore guard Myles Rice scored 12 points. He also dished out two assists and grabbed three rebounds.
• Rice scored in double figures for the 11th time this season and the fifth time in the last six games. In his career, he's had 37 games with at least 10 points.
• Senior forward Luke Goode scored 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting against his former team.
• Fifth-year senior guard Trey Galloway was the fourth player in double figures, scoring 10 points. He added five assists and two rebounds.
• Sophomore forward Mackenzie Mgbako scored four points and grabbed six rebounds.
• Freshman forward Bryson Tucker added four points on the night.
• Fifth-year senior guard Anthony Leal contributed six points. He added three rebounds and two assists.
• Sophomore guard Kanaan Carlyle scored two points and had one assist.
• Senior center Langdon Hatton had two points in six minutes.
• Redshirt freshman guard Jakai Newton played four minutes.
• Up Next: IU will play in Columbus on Friday (Jan. 17) evening against Ohio State. FOX will have the national broadcast at 8:00 p.m.
