Hoosiers Sweep Double Header Against Butler and Southern Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind – Indiana women's tennis continues the season with a double header sweep in Bloomington after defeating Butler 5-2 and Southern Indiana 7-0.
KEY MOMENTS (Against Butler)
• Li Hsin Lin and Magdalena Swierczynska got the Hoosiers rolling with a 6-1 doubles win.
• Elisabeth Dunac and Nicole Sifuentes clinched the doubles point for the Hoosiers after a 6-4 win.
• Lara Schneider and Nicole Teodosescu fought hard after going to 5-2 to tie the match at 6-6 before it was abandoned.
• Lara Schneider got the first singles win (6-1, 6-0) to advance the lead to 2-0 on the day.
• Freshman Nicole Sifuentes moves to a singles record of 2-0 with a 6-4, 6-4 victory.
• Magdalena Swierczynska clinched the match for the Hoosiers after winning the No. 5 singles 6-3, 7-6 (7-3)
