COLLEGE PARK, Md. ––– Indiana bests No.10 Maryland in a shootout, 2-1, Friday afternoon in College Park.
The win moves IU's record to 6-7 and their conference record to 1-3.
KEY MOMENTS
• Maryland's Maci Bradford found the back of the cage first in the first minute of play, putting the Terrapins up 1-0.
• Freshman Molly Stutte struck for the Hoosiers in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 1-1.
• Two overtimes were played with no one finding the back of their respective cages, moving the game to a shootout.
• In Indiana's second shootout stroke, Stutte found the back of the cage.
• Elen Nicholls created space during Indiana's fourth extra shot and slotted the ball past Maryland's goalkeeper.
• Sadie Canelli denied Maryland's final shootout attempt to cement the victory for the Hoosiers.

• This is the first time Indiana has beaten Maryland in program history.
