Hoosiers Best Buckeyes in Overtime

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– After a back-and-forth battle on Friday afternoon, Indiana and Ohio State battled to overtime where Mijntje Hagen scored the game-winning goal on a penalty corner to give the Hoosiers 2-1 victory.
The victory marks Indiana's third win in a row to put its season record at 8-7 and 3-3 in the Big Ten.
KEY MOMENTS
• Each team got two shots off in the first period, but both could not convert leading to a 0-0 score at the end of the first.
• Celia Arroyo Cabezudo broke the tie with her goal in the 18th minute to put Indiana up 1-0.
• Just three minutes later, Ohio State's Makenna Webster equaled the score at 1-1 with her unassisted goal in the 21st minute.
• In the fourth quarter, Sadie Canelli totaled three saves to prevent any Ohio State lead.
• Molly Stutte nearly won the game at the end of regulation in the final minute of the contest. She launched a rocket of a shot that was kick saved by Ohio State's Maddie Stevens before the ball hit the top of the post.
