Indiana vs. Baylor (Exhibition)

• The Indiana Hoosiers defeated the Baylor Bears by a score of 76-74 on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
• IU trailed 41-36 entering the break after trailing by as many as 13 in the opening half. The Hoosiers outscored the Bears 40-33 in the second stanza by holding BU to 9-of-31 (29.0%) from the floor.
• Indiana knocked down 20-of-21 (95.2%) from the free throw line. IU converted its first 20 attempts from the charity stripe.
• The Hoosiers dished out 18 assists on 27 made field goals. IU committed just nine turnovers.
• The Indiana defense forced Baylor into 16 turnovers and created eight steals. IU turned the added possessions into a 22-11 edge in points off takeaways.
• Fifth-year senior guard Lamar Wilkerson scored a game-best 26 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the floor and a perfect 11-of-11 from the free throw line. Wilkerson added four assists and two rebounds while being the primary defender on projected lottery pick in Baylor guard Tounde Yessoufou. The freshman shot just 3-of-12 from the floor.
• Redshirt senior forward Tucker DeVries stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points (7-of-15 from the floor), six rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocked shots.
• Sixth-year senior guard Tayton Conerway added 17 points (6-of-7 from the free throw line) to pair with three rebounds, five assists, and three steals. The reigning Sun Belt Player of the Year from Troy scored the go-ahead bucket with 8 seconds left to play.
• Senior forward Sam Alexis provided a defensive jolt off the bench and tallied nine points (4-of-5 shooting from the floor), seven rebounds, and a team-high three blocked shots.
• Senior forward Reed Bailey pitched in four points, two rebounds, and three assists in 19 minutes.
• Redshirt senior guard Conor Enright posted two points, two rebounds, one assist, and three steals in 32 minutes.
• Freshman forward Trent Sisley pulled down a couple of rebounds in 16 minutes of run.
• Junior guard Jasai Miles added an offensive rebound in limited bench minutes.
• Indiana's will officially open the regular season against Alabama A&M on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. ET in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The game will be shown on the Big Ten Network.
