Celia Arroyo Cabezudo Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana freshman Celia Arroyo Cabezudo was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Arroyo Cabezudo earned the distinction for her outstanding play in the team's wins over No. 18 Ohio State (Oct. 24) and Michigan State (Oct. 26) last weekend.
Indiana beat No. 18 Ohio State, 2-1 in overtime, on Friday and then defeated Michigan State, 6-1, on Sunday.
Arroyo Cabezudo scored the first goal of the game against Ohio State to put Indiana ahead 1-0. In the Michigan State win, she had a goal and an assist.
The entire weekly honors list is as follows:
Offensive: Ashley Sessa (#4), Jr., F, NU
Defensive: Milly Short (#12), Sr., B, IOWA
Freshman: Celia Arroyo Cabezudo (#17), Fr., F, IND
