Indiana Falls in Big Ten Tournament to No. 3 Seed Iowa

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Despite a strong showing under the lights of Deborah Tobias Field, Indiana Field Hockey fell to No. 3 Iowa, 1-0, in the Quarterfinal of the Big Ten Tournament.
With the loss, the Hoosiers have been eliminated from the Big Ten Tournament.
KEY MOMENTS
• Iowa got on the board early with a goal by Dionne van Aalsum in the sixth minute of play to put the Hawkeyes up 1-0. Assists on the goal came from Niamh de Jong & Jordan Byers.
• The Hoosiers held off Iowa defensively for the remainder of the game.
• With four minutes left in the contest, Indiana pulled goalkeeper Sadie Canelli to optimize scoring opportunities.
• Indiana created many scoring opportunities but was unable to find the back of the cage.

• Indiana's defense held Iowa scoreless for three quarters.
