Two Hoosiers Named NFHCA All-Region

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its All-Region teams on Wednesday afternoon and two Hoosiers were recognized.
Junior Inés Garcia Prado was named to the West Region's First Team and sophomore Mijntje Hagen was named to the West Region's Second Team.
The all-region teams were split up amongst five regions: Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Northeast, South and West, with up to 16 players on the first and second team for each region.
Garcia Prado had seven goals, nine assists and nine defensive saves in 2025. Garcia Prado had standout games against Lock Haven (Sep. 12) where she had a hat trick, a two-goal performance at Penn State (Oct. 19) and at Michigan (Oct. 31) when she had five defensive saves.
The junior also earned All-Big Ten First Team honors this season.
Mijntje Hagen notched six goals and 10 assists with one defensive save. She had a hat trick against UC Davis (Oct. 3) and the game-winning goal in overtime to beat No. 18 Ohio State (Oct. 24).
Hagen was named All-Big Ten Second Team, as well.
