• The Indiana men's basketball team (18-11, 9-9 B1G) earned its third-straight win with a 78-72 result at Washington (13-16, 4-14 B1G) on Saturday, March 1, at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle.
• The game marked the first in the five-game series history between the two programs played in Seattle. Three of the previous matchups were played in Portland as part of the Far West Classic, with one game played in Bloomington.
• Indiana's 16-point win marked the largest Big Ten road victory since earning an 18-point win at Illinois (March 7, 2019).
• The Hoosiers, led by a game-high 22 points from junior forward Malik Reneau, outscored the Husky bench by a tally of 35-10.
• IU controlled the paint with a 36-34 rebounding margin, a 40-24 advantage in paint points, and a 10-7 edge in second-chance points.
• Indiana held the lead for over 37 minutes of game time.
• Reneau finished the contest with 22 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the floor, which included a 6-for-6 start. He added six rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes off the bench.
• The Miami, Fla., native made 17-straight shots from the floor from the close of the UCLA game (Feb. 14) through the first half of the contest at Washington (March 1). The streak marked the longest for any Hoosier in the last 25 seasons.
• Senior forward Luke Goode led the Hoosier starters with 18 points on 5-of-9 shooting from behind the 3-point line. He also provided four rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
• His five made triples marked his highest season output since knocking down five against Sam Houston State on Dec. 3, 2024. He has made multiple 3-point field goals in 14 Big Ten games this season.
• In his last six conference road games, Goode has averaged 14.8 points on 52.5% (21-of-40) shooting from behind the arc. During that stretch Indiana has earned wins over Ohio State (Jan. 17), Michigan State (Feb. 11), and Washington (March 1).
• Fifth-year senior guard Trey Galloway posted eight points, seven assists, and two rebounds. The Culver native has averaged 7.8 assists per game across his last four outings.
• Galloway has dished out more than 125 assists in each of the last two seasons. He is the first Hoosier to achieve the feat since Kevin "Yogi' Ferrell handed out 125-plus assists in four-straight seasons (2012-16). Tom Coverdale (2001-03) is the only other Hoosier to hit the mark multiple times in the last 25 seasons.
• Fifth-year senior guard Anthony Leal was a team-best +26 in 34 minutes. He added four rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocked shots. Over his last six games, Leal has posted 17 stocks (steals + blocks). He has forced multiple turnovers in five of the six games.
• Sophomore forward Mackenzie Mgbako scored 10 pints add grabbed four rebounds in 25 minutes.
• Redshirt sophomore guard Myles Rice contributed 10 points, five rebounds, and one assist.
• Sixth-year senior center Oumar Ballo chipped in seven points and two boards.
• Sophomore guard Kanaan Carlyle registered two points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block.
• Senior center Langdon Hatton knocked down a free throw.
