Indiana at RV/RV Oregon

• The Indiana men's basketball team (18-12, 9-10 B1G) fell just short at Oregon (22-8, 11-8 B1G) on Tuesday, March 4, at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.
• IU took a 64-63 lead on a 3-pointer from fifth-year senior guard Trey Galloway with 1:58 to go in the second half. The Ducks ripped off a 10-0 run to close the game an take a 73-64 victory.
• Eight Hoosiers registered minutes in the game. All eight scored at least four points and grabbed at least one rebound.
• Indiana made 9-of-25 shots from behind the 3-point line. The Hoosiers have made at least nine triples in three-straight games. IU has shot 28-of-63 (44.4%) during the stretch.
• The Hoosiers shot 14 fewer free throws than the hometown Ducks. Oregon enjoyed a free throw attempt margin of 15 shots in the second half.
• Galloway finished with a team-best 16 points, three rebounds, and four assists in 31 minutes. The game marked his 138th appearance in an Indiana jersey, the most by any player in program history. He broke the tie with Kevin 'Yogi' Ferrell (137 games) from 2012-16.
• Sixth-year senior center Oumar Ballo recorded his 44th career double-double (10th this season) with 10 points and 12 rebounds. He shot 5-of-7 from the floor and added one steal and one block.
• Sophomore forward Mackenzie Mgbako scored all eight of his points in the second half on 2-of-4 shooting from behind the 3-point line. He added five rebounds, one assist, and one block.
• Junior forward Malik Reneau chipped in eight points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots in 27 minutes off the bench. His blocked shot total matched his career high he set against Mary (Nov. 12, 2023) and versus UConn (Nov. 19, 2023).
• Senior forward Luke Goode knocked down a pair of triples for six points, two rebounds, and two steals. He had made multiple 3-point field goals in six-straight games. Goode has made at least one shot from deep in 27-of-30 games this season.
• Fifth-year senior guard Anthony Leal charted four points, two rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Leal has handed out at least three helpers in five of his last six outings. He has produced multiple steals in six of his last seven games.
• Redshirt sophomore guard Myles Rice posted four points and four assists, his highest assist output since he dished out five dimes on Jan. 11 at Iowa.
• Sophomore guard Kanaan Carlyle added two made 3-pointers in 17 minutes off the bench. He scored eight points, his highest output since he secured 13 points at Ohio State on Jan. 17, to go along with two rebounds, and one assist.
• Indiana will return home for the regular season finale against Ohio State at 3:45 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 8, at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The program will honor nine senior managers and nine senior players: Oumar Ballo, Jaden Bobbett, Shaan Burke, Jackson Creel, Trey Galloway, Luke Goode, Langdon Hatton, Dallas James, and Anthony Leal.
