Hoosiers Announce Full Spring Schedule

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana volleyball head coach Steve Aird unveiled the program's spring exhibition schedule on Thursday (March 6) morning. In addition to a previously announced match against Louisville, the Hoosiers will play a contest against Illinois State.
The main attraction of the spring slate is a matchup with defending NCAA runner-up Louisville at Wilkinson Hall in Bloomington. The game on Saturday, April 5th will be played at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public. Both sides have agreed to play four sets to 25 points. There is a possibility for a fifth set to be played.
IU will play Illinois State on Saturday, April 12th at Frontier High School in Chalmers, Indiana. Freshman defensive specialist Emma Segal played at Frontier for four seasons and recorded 677 kills on a .342 hitting percentage as a senior in 2023. Her mom, Becky, coached her during her prep days. All tickets will be purchased through the school.
This is the second-straight year that IU will play a spring exhibition at the high school of one of its current athletes. Last year, the Hoosiers played Xavier at Westfield High School – the alma mater of former player Kenzie Daffinee.
IU's fall schedule will be released at some point this summer. The Big Ten released the home-and-away designations for conference opponents in February.
