Indiana Men’s Tennis Closes Season With Win Over Penn State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis finished the 2025 campaign strong, defeating Penn State, 4-1, at the Sarni Tennis Center
Indiana would open the afternoon strong, taking the doubles Point. Braeden Gelletich & Ben Pomeranets would earn a win at No. 3 doubles, 6-0. Matteo Antonescu & Michael Andre would follow up with a win at No. 2 doubles, 6-1, to secure the advantage for Indiana heading into singles play.
In singles play, Braeden Gelletich would earn the first win for Indiana at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 6-4. Jip van Assendelft would put the cream & crimson in a position to clinch the match with a win at No. 2 singles in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
Ben Pomeranets would secure the match victory with a win at No. 3 singles, 7-6 (7-4), 7-5.
With the win, Indiana concludes the season with an 11-13 record.
