LOS ANGELES– 7-seed Indiana couldn't match a strong offensive effort from 2-seed USC as it fell 20-5 in the opening game at the MPSF Tournament at Spieker Aquatic Center on the campus of UCLA.

KEY MOMENTS
- Junior Grace Klingler got Indiana on the board late in the first on a 6-on-5 opportunity as USC had already built up a 5-goal lead. Senior Skylar Kidd added one more in the frame as the Trojans led 7-2.
- The Hoosiers were scoreless in the second as the Trojans extend its lead to 12-2 at the break.
- Senior Sophia Sollie connected in the third quarter while Klingler completed a hat trick in the fourth quarter to lead the Hoosiers.

- The Hoosiers moved to 17-11 overall.
- Klingler's hat trick was the third of the season and her 11th multi-goal game of the season.
- Klingler and junior Louisa Downes each had two steals.
