Indiana Men’s Tennis Falls to Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis suffered a loss to rival Purdue on Saturday afternoon at the Schwartz Tennis Center.

Purdue would take the lead early in the match, winning the doubles point. The Boilermakers would earn wins at No. 1 & 3 doubles to secure the lead heading into singles play.

In singles play, Purdue would earn wins at No. 6, 3, and 1 singles to clinch the match victory.

Despite the loss, Braeden Gelletich would earn himself a win at No. 4 singles, 7-6 (5), 6-2.

Indiana will be back in action on Friday, April 11, when the Hoosiers take on Oregon at the IU Tennis Center. That match will begin at 5 p.m.
