Copeland Named IU’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Month

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Softball senior Brianna Copeland has been named IU's female Scholar-Athlete for the Month for May.
The senior utility player has displayed excellence in the classroom and on the field to be recognized by the IU Athletic Department for this award.
Copeland will graduate with a Sports Marketing & Management degree at the end of this spring semester.
The senior from Pelham, Ala. became the program's all-time home run leader when she reached 41 career homers against Louisville (April 9). She is now up to 43 career home runs.
Copeland is hitting .331 at the plate with nine doubles, 13 home runs and 39 RBI on the 2025 season. She also is 12-for-12 on stolen bases.
In the circle, Copeland has a 14-7 record and thrown 127 strikeouts.
