Hunter Earns All American Status, Hargrave Advances to 800 Final on Day Two From Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. – Indiana track and field completed a successful first day of women's competition from the NCAA Outdoor Championship on Thursday (June 12).
Veronica Hargrave earned her spot in Saturday's 800-meter finals. She placed second in her heat, earning the automatic qualifier to the finals with her time of 2:01.54.
Makayla Hunter earned her first All-American status of her career in the women's shot put. Hunter's mark of 16.86m ranked 15th among the competition, earning Second Team All-American recognition for the junior.
