BTS: Volleyball Season Starts in Chicago
CHICAGO - Head coach Steve Aird, junior middle blocker Ava Vickers and senior opposite hitter Avry Tatum helped kick off the 2025 season at the fourth annual Big Ten Volleyball Media Days on July 28th at the network studios in Chicago. The group of Indiana representatives answered questions in a press conference, took part in a Big Ten Network studio hit and gave an insight view to the season ahead in Bloomington

The energy right now is awesome. They [this freshman class] came in just hungry honestly. They want to work. They want to compete. I think being surrounded by not only players that want that, but also freshmen who want that, is amazing. It's their first couple months in the gym and they already have this level of compete inside of them.
