
IU Athletics Announces New Partnership with Lucas Oil

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana - IU Athletics announced a new partnership with Lucas Oil today that makes the Indiana-based company the Official Oil of IU Athletics for the 2025-26 season. As part of the partnership, Lucas Oil will be the title sponsor of the Memorial Stadium Field Suites for the upcoming Hoosier Football season.
The sponsorship agreement was secured by IU Athletics multimedia rightsholder IU Sports Properties.
"We are extremely proud to be able to partner with Lucas Oil, a company with Hoosier roots that has blossomed into a global leader during the last 35-plus years," said IU Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Dolson. "Lucas Oil is also a familiar name to all sports fans in our state thanks to its affiliation with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts as well as Richard Childress Racing. They are a big name in what they do and who they partner with, which makes this a very special day for our football program and department."
The Lucas Oil Field Suites are located on the south end of Memorial Stadium and offer Hoosier fans a spacious, premium seating opportunity immediately behind the south end zone. This area originally debuted in 2023, with eight suites, but has since grown to 20. Each suite includes sectional furniture seating; a mounted large screen television on the suite's awning, a drink rail with seating facing the field; and high barstool seats to provide additional seating space. Lucas Oil Field Suite ticket holders also enjoy an all-you-can-eat hospitality buffet; premium beer and wine options; and a personal suite attendant.
IU Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the media and technology company powering college athletics – is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for IU Athletics and oversees all sponsorship agreements on behalf of the Hoosiers.
