BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Big Ten Conference has named Jacopo Fedrizzi of Indiana men's soccer the Offensive Player of the Week via announcement on Tuesday (Aug. 26).
Fedrizzi scored three goals in IU's two matches last week, a 2-2 draw with No. 9-ranked Clemson and a 3-2 victory over San Francisco. Indiana erased two-goal deficits in both contests, and Fedrizzi scored the game-tying goal in each result.
No Big Ten student-athlete has matched Fedrizzi's three goals through two games. Fedrizzi and the Hoosiers play the third match of a five-game homestand Thursday night, hosting Green Bay.
