• The 309-yard rushing effort as a team is the most against an FBS opponent since 2016 (411, Maryalnd) and its most in a season opener since 2014 (455, Indiana State).

• With two rushing scores in the game, Indiana has recorded multiple rushing scores in 12 of Cignetti's 14 games.

• The three interceptions by Indiana mark the first three-interception game since its three picks against Nebraska in 2024. The last game with four-or-more interceptions by Indiana was in 2009 at Iowa (5 INT).

• Rushed for his eighth career touchdown on a 2-yard rush in the third quarter.

• Made his first career reception on a 12-yard pass from Fernando Mendoza in the second quarter.

Jonathan Brady | WR | Sr.
• His 91-yard punt return touchdown in the first quarter tied for the fourth-longest punt return in program history and the longest since Lance Bennett broke the program record of 94 yards in 2004 against Michigan State.
• His punt return touchdown was the first for IU since D.J. Matthews Jr. returned one 81 yards against Idaho (9/11/21).
• With 108 total punt return yards, moved into No. 6 on the single game charts and the most since J-Shun Harris (103) against Ball State in 2018.

Amare Ferrell | DB | Jr.
• Grabbed the first IU interception of the season in the second quarter and returned it 31 yards. It is the fifth interception of his career.

Rolijah Hardy | LB | So.
• Matched a career-high four tackles. He last reached the mark at Notre Dame in 2024.

Roman Hemby | RB | R-Sr.
• Extended his consecutive games with a catch streak to 27 with his 9-yard reception in the second quarter.
• His 110-yard performance marked his eighth time eclipsing 100 yards in a game.
• First IU running back to top the 100-yard mark in their Hoosier debut since Jordan Howard ran for 145 yards against Southern Illinois to open the 2015 season.

Isaiah Jones | LB | R-Jr.
• Had his first career solo sack when he brought Colton Joseph down for a 3-yard loss in the third quarter.

Mikail Kamara | DL | R-Sr.
• Moved his streak of consecutive games with a tackle to 37 — every game of his career.

Fernando Mendoza | QB | R-Jr.
• Scored Indiana's first offensive touchdown of the season and his first score as a Hoosier when he found the end zone on a 5-yard run in the second quarter.
• It was his fourth career rushing touchdown.

Louis Moore | DB | R-Sr.+
• Grabbed the fourth interception of his career - his first of the season - in the second quarter and took it back 17 yards.

D'Angelo Ponds | DB | Jr.
• Had his sixth career interception when he picked off Colton Joseph in the fourth quarter.

Nico Radicic | K | R-So.
• His 3-for-3 effort on extra points pushed him to No. 9 on the career extra points made charts with 74. He passed Charles Campbell (73; 2018-2022).

Elijah Sarratt | WR | Sr.
• Continued his nation-leading consecutive games with a catch streak to 39 on his 11-yard connection with Fernando Mendoza in the third quarter.
