BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer forced a 0-0 draw against Washington in their Big Ten home opener on Thursday night.
With the tie, the Hoosiers record moves to 3-4-3 overall and 0-2-2 in conference play.

- The Hoosier defense came out strong in the first half holding the high-powered Husky offense to two shot attempts in the first half.
- Junior midfielder Kennedy Neighbors looked to score early with her three shot attempts all coming in the first 20 minutes of action.
- The defensive pressure continued through the second half. Graduate goalkeeper Sally Rainey tallied two saves, while the defense forced five more missed shots to force a 0-0 draw.
