Jada Ellison & Aubree Hooks Named to Softball America Freshman to Watch List

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana's Jada Ellison and Aubree Hooks were named to Softball America's Freshman Watch List on Monday.
The duo arrived in Bloomington with impressive accolades to their name before even taking the field for the Hoosiers.
Ellison is a Murfreesboro, Tenn. native and graduate of Oakland High School. On the travel circuit, she was a standout for Fury Platinum National Davenport.
She hit for a .479 average with 44 stolen bases in the 2024 season of travel ball.
She was named to the Daily News Journal's 2025 All-Area Softball First Team.
At Thompson High School in Alabaster, Ala., Hooks was a four-year varsity letterwinner with 130.2 innings pitched, a 22-4 record, 141 strikeouts and a 1.20 ERA.
Her strong play earned her First Team All-State in 2025 and Second Team All-State in 2024.
She was also named Shelby County's Pitcher of the Year in 2024 and 2025, as well.
She played travel ball for Impact Gold Premier – Warrick. Hooks was named a Top 100 pitcher by Extra Innings Softball in their class of 2025 rankings.
