BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — IU Athletics invites Hoosier fans to Memorial Stadium this Saturday, Jan. 24, to celebrate the IU Football program's College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship.
Admission is free for Saturday's event, which officially gets underway at 1 p.m. IU Athletics complex parking lots open at 10:30 a.m. and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Stadium gates, meanwhile, open at 11:30 a.m. Prior to the start of the official program at 1 p.m., fans will be entertained by the Marching Hundred, Cheerleaders, RedSteppers, DJ Iman Tucker, and a videoboard pre-event show that will include video highlights from the 2025 season.
Another featured pre-event attraction will take place at Noon, when all members of Coach Curt Cignetti's team and staff participate in 'The Walk' at its traditional location between Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium.
Upon entry to the stadium, the first 40,000 fans will be able to pick up a special commemorative CFP National Champions commemorative rally towel. Currently, this is the only planned distribution event for this final rally towel of the 2025 National Championship season.
Once the official program gets underway, National Championship celebration attendees will enjoy a series of trophy presentations as well as numerous speakers from the IU Football program addressing the crowd, including Curt Cignetti and various IU players.
In addition to the CFP Championship trophy, the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and National Football Foundation's (NFF) MacArthur Bowl will be in attendance along with the Heisman Trust to present Indiana University with Fernando Mendoza's Heisman Trophy.
There are additional celebration elements that remain in the works. We encourage you to follow IU Football's social media channels for exciting updates and the latest information on Saturday's festivities.
