BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Hoosiers continue play on the road when it travels to No. 25/RV Nebraska on Thursday night in an 8 p.m. ET tip inside Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The Huskers got back in the win column on Sunday when it defeated Purdue, 78-62, at home. Sophomore guard Britt Prince had a team-high 17 points against the Boilermakers, She leads Nebraska with 19.0 points per game while sophomore forward Amiah Hargrove comes off the bench for 12.1 ppg and a team-high 6.2 rpg. Nebraska is averaging 86.3 points per game and shooting 51. 4 percent from the floor.

- Freshman forward Maya Makalusky had 20 points on six 3-pointers but Indiana couldn't keep up with then No. 7/6 Maryland, 82-67, on Sunday night. Senior guard Shay Ciezki had 17 points while sophomore forward Zania Socka-Nguemen made her return after missing eight games.
- Sophomore forward Zania Socka-Nguemen returned action after missing eight games with a lower leg injury. She came off the bench in her first appearance in five weeks when she played 16 minutes against No. 7/6 Maryland and scored four points and three rebounds.
- Freshmen Nevaeh Caffey and Makalusky have impacted the Hoosiers in their rookie seasons. Caffey and Makalusky have both worked their way into the starting lineup. Caffey is averaging 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. The Warrenton, Mo. native has scored in double figures in the last three games including her 11 points against Maryland on Sunday. Makalusky entered the lineup against ULM and has appeared in all 16 games for the Hoosiers. She put up a season-high 22 points against ULM in her first career start and is chipping in 6.8 points per game.
