No. 22 Indiana Throttles No. 15 Wisconsin in Madison

MADISON, Wis. ––– No. 22 Indiana Wrestling picked up their third ranked win and the one against its highest ranked opponent on Saturday (Feb. 7) afternoon, defeating No. 15 Wisconsin, 30-9.
The Hoosiers won eight-straight bouts from 125 to 184 lbs. to put together a dominant 30-0 lead. IU did not allow a takedown until the 197 lbs. bout.
With the win, Indiana's season record improves to 8-4 and 3-3 in the Big Ten.
KEY MOMENTS
• Indiana made a statement from the jump, as No. 14 Jacob Moran (125) used a third-period takedown to settle a 1-1 tie late in the match and defeat No. 15 Nicolar Rivera by decision, 4-2.
• True freshman Jackson Blum (133) went toe-to-toe with No. 8 Zan Fugitt, taking him down in the second period and holding on to a 4-1 decision win.
• Two matches after Blum earned the biggest win of his career, Joey Blum (149) did the same. He went to Sudden Victory at 1-1 with No. 12 Joe Zargo before securing a takedown to earn the 4-1 win.
