BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana Women's Tennis dropped its match against No. 26 Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon at the IU Tennis Center, 4-2.
Key Moments
• The Hoosiers got off to a hot start with doubles play. No. 3 doubles of junior Chase Boyer and senior Nicole Teodosescu put Indiana ahead after securing a win (6-2). Wisconsin leveled with a win at No. 2 doubles (6-3), but the Hoosiers maintained composed. IU's No.1 doubles of freshman Alessandra Teodosescu and freshman Hi'ilani Williams secured the doubles point for Indiana with a 7-5 victory.
• Junior Elisabeth Dunac fought to put a second point on the board for the Hoosiers. Dunac secured the first set (6-3) before her Wisconsin opponent leveled the competition in the second set (4-6). A competitive third set would see Dunac victorious with a 6-0 win.
• Nicole Teodosescu took her opponent to a third set (6-3) after she took the second, but the duo was unable to conclude as the contest ended as the Badgers secured their win (4-2).
