STATESBORO, Ga. – The Indiana men's golf team tied for 12th at the Schenkel Invitational with a score of 871 (293-285-293; +7) played at the Forest Heights Country Club over the weekend.

• Junior Nick Piesen posted his third straight top-20 finish to open the spring calendar to lead the Hoosiers. He shot a 214 (72-70-72; -2) to tie for 19th. Piesen added 12 birdies.
• Sophomore Neri Checcucci shot a collegiate career-low against-par score of 218 (73-74-71; +2) with 12 birdies in his third tournament of the season.
• Junior Cole Starnes shot a 219 (73-71-75; +3) with a team-best 13 birdies.
• Junior Alec Cesare turned in a scorecard of 223 (75-73-75; +7) with eight birdies.
