3/4/2026 4:21:00 PM | Track and Field
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University track and field earned three qualifiers for 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships. Trelee Banks Rose (200m), Veronica Hargrave (800m), and Camden Marshall (800m) will represent the Hoosiers in Fayetteville, Ark. on March 13-14.
Banks will make his debut with the fourth fastest qualifying 200-meter time. He comes in following a second place finish at the Big Ten Championship last weekend. He set consecutive school records in the preliminary round (20.70) and in the finals (20.37). This is the fifth instance he has broken or tied an indoor school record this season, including breaking the 300-meter school record.
Hargrave will make her first appearances at the Indoor championship after being the first Hoosier to win the women's 600-meter at the Big Ten Championship since Molly Beckwith (2010), breaking her previous school record. She has also broken the indoor 800-meter record with her time of 2:01.64 in the Valentine Invitational.
Marshall will be competing in his third appearance at the indoor championship and first in an individual event. He has previously competed in two other DMR teams in 2023 and 2024. Those teams earned fifth and sixth place finishes, respectively, the last time the Hoosiers qualified for the championship.
