Kenzie Hare Signs With Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's basketball head coach Teri Moren has announced the addition of Kenzie Hare to the 2026-27 roster. Hare will have one year of eligibility remaining and joins a previously announced transfer class of Alisa Williams (Iowa State) and Jess Petrie (Nebraska).
A 5-foot-9 guard from Barlett, Ill. played the last two seasons at Iowa State after starting out at Marquette. As a redshirt junior in 2025-26, Hare averaged 6.0 points and 2.5 rebounds while shooting 40 percent from 3-point range. She started in 31 of 32 games last season as the Cyclones made the NCAA Tournament last season. As a true junior in 2024-25, Hare played just 10 games before missing the rest of the season with a medical redshirt.
Prior to her time in Ames, she played her first wo seasons at Marquette, where as a sophomore in 2023-24 she averaged 14.0 points, 2.4 assists and 2.1 rebounds while starting in 31 of 32 games. She set the program record for threes made by a sophomore (91) and finished the season as the leader in 3-pointers made in the Big East. Her performance earned her All-Big East honorable mention honors. As a freshman (2022-23), she averaged 7.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.0 asssts in 31 games played for the Golden Eagles.
Hare was a four-year high school letter winner who played three years at Bartlett (Ill.) High School before transferring to Naperville (Ill.) North High School for her senior year. She one of the top scorers in the state of Illinois, finishing her prep career with 2,494 points and 398 made 3-pointers, fourth-most in Illinois state history. She arned All-State honors all four years of high school caree. As a senior in 2021-22, earned Associated Press First Team All-State honors after averaging 20.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 3.1 steals per contest while leading the Huskies to a 30-4 overall record.
