Avery Parker Named Female Scholar-Athlete of the Month

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Indiana senior Avery Parker was named IU's Female Scholar-Athlete of the Month for May.
Parker has displayed excellent work ethic both in the classroom and on the field to achieve this honor.
The Westfield, Ind. native has had a fantastic senior season that includes a .384 batting average, 53 hits, 10 doubles, two triples, 18 home runs and 59 RBI.
Parker became the program's all-time home run leader at Iowa on Sunday April 19, when she hit her 46th career homer. She is now up to 52 after the Wednesday (April 29) win over Evansville.
