Five Hoosiers Named CSC Academic All-District

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Indiana Softball's Brooke Mannon, Avery Parker, Madalyn Strader, Ella Troutt and Aly VanBrandt earned Academic All-District Team Honors from the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday (May 26).
The distinction recognizes top student-athletes for excellence in the classroom and on the field.
Aly VanBrandt has been selected as a CSC Academic All-America Finalist and has advanced to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First, second and third team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 16.
The group each played a key role in leading Indiana to a fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance for the first time in program history.
