TEAM
• Indiana is now 1-0 all-time against Howard.

• Indiana's game captains were: OL Drew Evans, LB Isaiah Jones, WR Tyler Morris.

• Howard won the coin toss and deferred the opening kickoff. Indiana received the opening kick.

• The Hoosiers are 53-27-1 all-time as a ranked team, which includes a 13-3 record as a top-5 team.

• Nine Hoosiers made their collegiate debuts: Jayreon Campbell, Parker Elmore, Cade Kaiser, Lavar Keys, Kenton Mondeau, Lincoln Murff, Evan Parker, Hunter Stroud and Blake Thiry. The 2026 total is now 19 collegiate debuts.

• Four first year players made their collegiate debuts: Jayreon Campbell, Parker Elmore, Lavar Keys and Kenton Mondeau. Indiana now has 11 first year players to debut in 2026.

• Lee Beebe Jr. (117 yards) and Turbo Richard (108 yards) became IU's first 100-yard rushing duo in the same game since a win over Rutgers in 2017 (Morgan Ellison, 149; Cole Gest, 104).

• IU's 55-point performance was the 13th time under Curt Cignetti that the program has scored 50-or-more points in a game (4, 2024; 7, 2025; 2, 2026).

• The 41 first half points mark just the sixth 40-point half in program history - all coming in first halves of games.

• Indiana posted its 12th game under Cignetti with at least 500 yards of total offense.

• The Hoosiers won time of possession for the 22nd time in 31 games under Cignetti.

• With an interception versus Howard, the Indiana defense has forced at least one turnover in 11 straight games dating back to 2025 and the 27th time in 31 games under defensive coordinator Bryant Haines.

• The Indiana defense allowed Howard just four first downs in the game, marking the fewest in a game since at least 1958. In that span, IU allowed five first downs on four occasions: Indiana State, 2025; Purdue, 2024; Eastern Illinois, 2019; Minnesota, 1958.

• The 57 yards of total offense by Howard are the fewest allowed by an IU defense since at least 1950. It is the seventh time in program history Indiana allowed fewer than 100-yards of total offense in a game and the third time in the Cignetti era.

• With just 13 yards rushing allowed the Indiana defense posted the 10th game since at least 1958 with fewer than 15 yards rushing allowed in a game. It is the fewest yards rushing allowed by IU since 2 yards versus Illinois in 2025 and the fifth time under head coach Curt Cignetti.

• The 44 yards passing are the fewest allowed by an IU defense since 2023 against Rutgers (39).
• Indiana totaled 12.0 tackles for loss in the game for its eight double-digit tackle for loss game since 2024.

Andrew Barker | TE | 2nd
• Registered first career start.

Charlie Becker | WR | 3rd
• Had first career three touchdown game with three receiving scores in the first half.
• Totaled 81 yards receiving on three receptions.
• First IU player with multiple touchdown catches in consecutive games since Ty Fryfogle (2, at Michigan State; 3, at Ohio State) in 2020. The first Hoosier to record 3-plus touchdowns in a game since Omar Cooper Jr. had four against Indiana State (9/12) in Week 3 of 2025.

Lee Beebe Jr. | RB | 5th
• Charted his fourth career 100-yard rushing game and first as a Hoosier with 117 yards rushing on 16 carries.

Keishaun Calhoun | DL | 2nd
• Charted first two career tackles on two solo sacks.

Jayreon Campbell | RB | 1st
• Made collegiate debut and rushed for 36 yards on five carries.

Davion Chandler | TE | 2nd
• Had third career touchdown on third career reception when he pulled in a 3-yard touchdown in the third quarter from Grant Wilson.

Tyler Cherry | QB | 2nd
• First career completion was a connection with Jackson Wasserstrom on a 10-yard pass in the fourth quarter.

Parker Elmore | TE | 1st
• Registered first career appearance on special teams in the third quarter.

Rolijah Hardy | LB | 3rd
• Had second career pick-6 when he intercepted Ja'Shawn Scroggins for a 19-yard touchdown return in the second quarter.
• It marked the third career interception and first since Nebraska (10/19) in 2024
• Was second career interception return for a touchdown and first since Western Illinois (9/6) in 2024.

Josh Hoover | QB | 5th
• Totaled four touchdown passes for the second-consecutive week.
• Tied program record for most touchdown passes in first two games of the season with eight. Sudfeld also threw eight against Indiana State and Navy to begin 2013.
• Sixth quarterback (ninth occasion) in program history with eight-plus touchdown passes in a two-game span. Fernando Mendoza (3, 2026), Nate Sudfeld (1, 2013; 1, 2015), Kellen Lewis (1, 2006), Blake Powers (1, 2005), Antwaan Randle El (1, 1999) also accomplished the feat.

Cade Kaiser | WR | 2nd
• Made his first career appearance on offense in the fourth quarter.

Lavar Keys | WR | 1st
• Made his first career appearance on offense in the fourth quarter.

Nick Marsh | WR | 3rd
• Had his 11th career receiving touchdown on a 51-yard touchdown pass from Grant Wilson in the third quarter.

Kenton Mondeau | OL | 1st
• Made his first career appearance on offense in the third quarter.

Lincoln Murff | LB | 4th
• Made his collegiate debut and recorded his first two career tackles.

Evan Parker | OL | 2nd
• Made his first career appearance on offense in the fourth quarter.

Shazz Preston | WR | 5th
• Scored his first touchdown as a Hoosier on his 39-yard reception in the first quarter.

Turbo Richard | RB | 3rd
• His 14-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter marked back-to-back weeks with a score and his 14th career rushing touchdown.
• Had his fourth career 100-yard rushing game on his 108 yards rushing on his 11 carries.

Jacob Savage | LB | 1st
• Logged his first career 1.5 tackles for loss and first career sack.

Hunter Stroud | WR | 2nd
• Made his first career appearance on offense in the fourth quarter.

Blake Thiry | TE | 2nd
• Made his first career appearance on offense in the fourth quarter.

Jeff Utzinger | LB | 5th
• Had his first career 0.5 tackle for loss when he and Joe Hjelle brought John Washington down for a loss of a yard in the third quarter.
• Recorded a career high four tackles in Saturday's win.

Grant Wilson | QB | 7th
• Had his first two passing touchdowns as a Hoosier and the 24th and 25th of his career when he connected with Davion Chandler and Nick Marsh for third-quarter touchdowns.
• It was his first multi-passing touchdown game since he had two when playing for Old Dominion against Bowling Green in 2024.
