WESTCHESTER, Ill. – The Indiana men's golf team shot an 877 (285-299-293; +13) to tie for seventh at the Highlands Invitational presented by Turtleson at the Chicago Highlands Club to open the week.

• Second-year Jake Cesare paced the Hoosiers with a three-round score of 217 (69-76-72; +1), his lowest score against par as a collegiate golfer. He secured 10 birdies and an eagle on the Par-5 No. 5 in the opening round on Monday. Cesare tied for 11th in the individual standings.
• Third-year Bradley Chill Jr. finished inside the top-25 after he signed for a 219 (71-76-72; +3). He posted 10 birdies.
• Third-year Jamison Ousley played a team-high 12 birdies on his way to a 221 (72-77-72; +5).
• Fourth-year Cole Starnes, who played as an individual, shot a 222 (71-76-75; +6) with seven total birdies. He also converted a pair of eagles in the first round on the Par-5 No. 5 and Par-5 No. 18. He was one of three players in the 72-person field to convert multiple eagles in the event.
• Fourth-year Nick Piesen ended the tournament at 223 (73-73-77; +7) with seven birdies.
• Fourth-year Alec Cesare concluded his week at 226 (74-74-78; +10) with six birdie conversions.
