TEAM
• Indiana is 37-47-1 all-time against Northwestern. The win gives IU an 18-17 mark on Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium.
• Indiana's game captains were: LB Isaiah Jones, RB Turbo Richard and OL Carter Smith.
• Northwestern won the coin toss and deferred the opening kickoff. Indiana received the opening kick.
• The Hoosiers are 55-27-1 all-time as a ranked team, which includes a 16-3 record as a top-5 team.
• Indiana's 20-game winning streak is the longest nationally since Washington from 2022-24 (21) and the longest in the Big Ten since Ohio State (23) from 2013-14.
• The 20-game winning streak marks just the fourth 20-plus game winning streak in the Big Ten since 1980: Indiana 20, 2024-present; Ohio State 23, 2014-15; Ohio State 24, 2012-13; Penn State 20, 1993-95.
• TE Trevor Gibbs, DL Joe Hjelle and LB Jacob Savage each made their first collegiate start. Nine Hoosiers have made their first collegiate starts in 2026.

• Made first career reception on a 6-yard catch in the first quarter.
Charlie Becker | WR | 3rd
• Tied a career-high of seven receptions. He last reached the mark in Week 11 at Penn State (11/8) in 2025.
Lee Beebe Jr. | RB | 5th
• Had a career-high 203 yards rushing and career-high 70-yard rush in the fourth quarter. His previous high was 161 yards rushing against Rice in 2024 while at UAB and his previous long was 66 yards against North Texas in 2023 while at UAB.
• His 4-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter marked back-to-back weeks with a score after his 2-touchdown day in Week 3 against Western Kentucky (9/19).
Stephen Daley | DL | 5th
• Had a career-high two forced fumbles, stripping the ball twice from Aidan Chiles, once in the second and once in the fourth quarter.
Trevor Gibbs | TE | 1st
• Made first collegiate start line up at fullback.
Joe Hjelle | DL | 5th
• Made first collegiate start at defensive line.
Josh Hoover | QB | 5th
• Was 19-of-29 passing with 201 yards with one passing and one rushing touchdown.
• His 1-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter was his first rushing score as a Hoosier and his first since he did so against Colorado (10/4) while at TCU in 2025.
Nick Marsh | WR | 3rd
• His 11-yard reception in the second quarter pushed his consecutive games with a catch streak to 27, with multiple receptions in 26 straight.
• Scored a touchdown in three of first four games as a Hoosier.
Daniel Ndukwe | DL | 3rd
• Forced first career safety when he brought down Aidan Chiles in the end zone in first quarter to put Indiana up 2-0.
Tobi Osunsanmi | DL | 5th
• His 1.0 sack and 2.0 tackles for loss marked three weeks in a row with at least 1.0 sack and four weeks in a row with at least 1.0 tackle for loss.
• His 2.0 tackles for loss matched a career high, previously reaching the mark twice, including against North Texas in Week 1 (9/5) and in Week 0 of 2025 against Iowa State (8/23) while at Kansas State.
Nico Radicic | K | 4th
• His nine points against Northwestern improved his career total to 264 and passed Scott Bonnell (261; 1989-1992) for No. 5 on the career scoring list. He trails Antwaan Randle El (270; 1998-2001).
• With 168 consecutive extra points made, Radicic's streak is the best in program history and sits No. 2 in Big Ten history, passing Wisconsin's Rafael Gaglianone (167; 2014-18). He trails Sean Nuerenberger of Ohio State (216; 2014-18) for the No. 1 spot.
• His three extra points today extended his program record total to 168.
• His two field goals made put his career total at 32. That total tied for No. 10 on the career field goals made list with Logan Justus (32; 2018-19). He trails Charles Campbell (39; 2019-22) for No. 8.
